The name Kentish Town applies to the district of London just to the North of Camden Town. In medieval times this part of London was actually called "Kenty Stone" but over the years this has been corrupted into the present name Kentish Town.
Initially it was a hamlet on the banks of the River Fleet, but constant flooding meant that by the 15th century the parish was moved away from the river to the site of the presented day Kentish Town. In addition to Kentish Town our branch services the other popular neighbourhoods of Camden Town, Tufnell Park, Chalk Farm, Gospel Oak and Dartmouth Park.
All are well served by the Northern Line and North London line as well as the multitude of Bus Routes to the City and West End.
To discover this area explore beyond the main roads. Large pockets of attractive Victorian houses are in abundance, many are converted into flats. A great variety of property is available offering something for everybody.
